Best Gas Mileage

Saving Gas

The price of gas has climbed through the roof and it shows no signs of stopping for a while yet. It has hit me hard and I am sure you have suffered just the same when you go to the gas station to fill up.

It makes a lot of sense to try to use less gas by getting the best gas mileage from your car or truck and to try to spend less money on gas. How can we do that? There are a few ways you can cut the money you spend on gas each week.

1) Drive less. Less distance and fewer journeys.

2) Drive more fuel conciously. Drive slower and drive more gently.

3) Get more miles per gallon. Get your car serviced regularly and read the gas mileage tips below.

The first option is up to you. Can you change the way you lead your life? Cut down on the journeys by doing more things each time you are out driving.

The second choice is worth doing as you can easily get a few more miles per gallon if you drive gently. Well worth trying.

The third and last method does work. You should always keep your vehicles serviced properly as they will use the fuel more efficiently.

There is another way of increasing the number of miles per gallon and that is to use Hydrogen. This is a rather new idea though scientists have been working on hydrogen vehicles for years. There are lots of companies and scientists working on developing the hydrogen economy right now. There are now several hydrogen gas service stations being set up now as part of the development of the expected hydrogen economy. It is planned to make the hydrogen from water and pump it into your hydrogen gas tank in your car.

So what can you do now? One new development is that you can build your own hydrogen generator and fit it to your car. You don't need to be a scientist or even an engineer and it is only the size of a large can of peanuts and according to users of these systems you can get 20% to 40% more miles per gallon of gas.
