What Are Slow Auctions On E Bay

Some auctions get hundreds of bids, but some go much more slowly, getting only a few bids or even none at all for days. Auctions are generally much slower during the summer months than they are in the winter - and sales on e bay are slowing each year, as more sellers than buyers sign up, hoping to get rich quick. There are a number of ways that you can take advantage of slower auctions to get the best price.

Wait to Bid-For those who bid, then everybody can see you are interested and that may make them interested too. Leaving the item alone for as long as you can bear will make it look much less well liked, and keep the price down so you'll be able to come in on the last minute and get a bargain.

Make an offer-If the vendor is promoting an item utilizing 'Buy it Now' and it nonetheless hasn't sold when the auction is about to end, use e bay's 'Greatest Supply' service to make them an offer on it. The chances are they have listed the item or 3 times before, and so they'll be so annoyed at the prospect of re listing it but once more that they'll settle for your product just to do away with the thing.

Conspire with Other Buyers-You won't have considered this, but if there are two auctions for the same merchandise and solely you and one different buyer are bidding, why not get together and work out a 'you are taking this one and I am going to take that one' deal? This avoids you elevating the value on each auctions just to get one each. In case you make a couple of associates, you may even work together on auctions in the long run, taking it in turns to bid.

Be Snobbish-Send the vendor emails asking questions concerning the condition of the item, and making it very clear that you are a discerning purchaser and can solely settle for issues of the highest quality. This will make them really feel better about promoting you their merchandise for less.

What Are E Bay Art Auctions?

I have been looking at art auctions on e bay all day today. I've discovered some great things. I browsed the Artwork class and chose the subcategory of self representing artists.I like what I see for sale. Art auctions on e bay are a good way for an unknown or perhaps a known artist to sell their paintings. I discovered some nice paintings within the featured section.

There was another art auction on e bay that really caught my eye. The artist was Kelly Shanks and she lives in Boston. The painting that I saw was done in an impressionist style and called Neon Rain. It is part of her New Orleans series. I liked it a lot.I found an art auction on e bay for a painting entitled The Egg Eaters.

It was actually odd and didn't exactly suit me. I attempted to imagine where it will find hanging. I believe that fantasy art simply can't hang everywhere. I can see this hanging in an upscale gaming retailer or in a bachelor pad.

The funniest art auction sale I saw on e bay was for a folk artwork rendition of a Jack Russell terrier. I can only think about that a dog lover should own and show this. The dog appears like he is about to leap up on me!I found a landscape that I really preferred when I was looking by the artwork auctions on e bay. The piece was referred to as Pink Barn beneath Praire Clouds. I think that if this was hanging in my bedroom, I would by no means get out of bed. I like to watch clouds.

The only other art auction on e bay that I spent a lot of time looking at was a painting of red tulips against a yellow sky. I'm not sure why I was so taken by this painting. Tulips are my favorite flower. The tulips in this painting are just suspended in the center. They just seem to hang there magically. I really liked this depiction of my favorite flower.

E Bay Auctions-is Timing Important?

In the case of promoting goods on E bay, what you have got and the way you time it are two very important things for profitable auctions. But do you know that the timing of your e bay auctions can even have an effect on their success? It's true. Real e bay pros use timing methods to maximize their income, and you may, too.

When are e bay's peak shopping hours for instances? According to the pros, each day purchases spike between 8 and 10PM Eastern Time. Weekly sales attain their peak on Sunday evenings. In case your auction closes during any of these time intervals, your auctions are more likely to be seen and bid on. If your auction closes in the wee hours of the morning, it's unlikely that you will benefit from the last minute shopping.

So how do you time your auctions to end when e bay has the most visitors? Time your listings carefully. In the event you put up an item in a three day listing, the auction will end at the actual time, three days later. The same goes for different auctions of longer durations.

For instance, a seven day listing made at 8PM on Sunday evening will finish at 8PM the following Sunday evening. It sounds easy, however cautious auction sales timing is an typically overlooked technique that may drastically improve your gross sales on e bay.
